- purchased all necessary gift-wrappin’ type stuff for george’s present
- wrapped george’s present and wrote amusing message in the amusing card
- purchased a copy of the silmarillion (finally)
- finagled my way into the comic book store after closing time and purchased the world’s end and the kindly ones for my sandman collection
- managed to slice onions without crying
- coincided with an ice-cream truck on my walk home and got me some sweet whipped deliciousness (that does not mean i indulged in s+m with the ice-cream man, or his wife)
i’ve mostly been relaxing at home for the last two days, enjoying my bed, my bathtub and the fact that i will not be kept up by crazy skateboarders. had a fucking amazing sushi dinner last night with moomin at atari-ya in hendon for £50 between us, which is fairly reasonable for a restaurant that charges £7 for seaweed salad and we left nice and full. and i actually enjoyed sashimi for once. fatty tuna nom nom nom.
